Information we collect
Newsletter signups. If you sign up for my mailing list, your email address (and name, if you provide one) is collected and stored by MailerLite, the email service I use to send updates and an automatic welcome message. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.
Contact form submissions. If you use a contact or signup form on this site, the information you submit is delivered to me and stored in the site’s Jetpack Forms inbox so I can respond to you.
Blog comments. If you leave a comment on a blog post, your name, email address, and comment text are stored. Your name and comment are shown publicly; your email address is not.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (through the MonsterInsights plugin) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are most popular. This relies on cookies and does not identify you personally. The site may also use on-site feedback tools (UserFeedback) to collect optional survey responses or general usage patterns to help improve the site.
Who we share information with
Information described above is shared only with the service providers who help run this site: MailerLite (email delivery), Automattic/Jetpack (forms and site security), and Google (analytics). Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
Your rights
You can ask at any time what information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask that it be deleted — just email authorstephaniehale@gmail.com. If you’re subscribed to the newsletter, you can also unsubscribe directly from any email you receive.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
